After two years of absence due to the pandemic, Foire de Paris reopens its doors for a highly anticipated and eventful edition in 2022. Here are some appointments not to be missed.
Looking for home solutions, just curious or lovers of unusual inventions, here are some appointments not to be missed.
The Lepine Competition
This is one of the show’s unmissable events. The famous Concours Lépine will once again reward inventors of all kinds. For the 121st edition, the competition, whose mission is to support French creators, will award its prizes and medals to the inventions competing in 5 categories: Connected universe, Nature & Art of living, Health & New technologies, Transport & Industry and The World Invents! In the meantime, you can discover and discuss the winners, who will be revealed on Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 7:30 PM, with their creators in the aisles of the show.
L’Atelier Maison and advice from Stéphane Plaza
Carry out a decoration project, learn crafts, discover the latest trends or tips from the pros… L’Atelier Maison is the place to meet to get inspired, learn, discover or just have a good time thanks to its several workshops organized throughout the show. Ambassador Maison de Foire de Paris, Stéphane Plaza will also provide advice through various workshops.
Workshop at home, every day from 10 am to 7 pm – Pavilion 1. Workshops with Stéphane Plaza on Thursday 28/04, Saturday 30/04 and Wednesday 04/05.
Meet an architect
Do you have a home or garden project? Architects, interior designers, decorators and landscape architects will be present at Foire de Paris and, in collaboration with the RencontreUnArchi.com platform, will offer free 30-minute appointments for personalized advice.

The Grand Prix de l’Innovation, zoom in on the household appliances of tomorrow
It rewards the most innovative devices. As a guarantee to the public, the Grand Prix de l’Innovation will once again honor the latest technological innovations in the field of household appliances. Maison à part is pleased to be a member of the jury again this year. And for the second year, Gifam is awarding the Responsible Consumer Award to the most virtuous appliances, distinguished according to very specific criteria.
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 28 April at 2.30 pm in the Atelier Maison – Paviljoen 1 space, but you can discover them every day from 10 am to 7 pm in Pavilion 7.
Tailor-made kitchen day
Created in 2019, the Tailor-made Kitchen Day allows visitors who have a kitchen project, but are not brave enough to get started on their own, to make it happen. Professionals and experts present the latest trends and give many tips for choosing the kitchen that suits everyone. The 2nd edition of the Stars of the kitchen, of which Maison à part is happy to be part of the jury, also rewards exhibitors in 6 different categories.

The French Barbecue Championship
Grill lovers, this is not to be missed! New this year, the French Barbecue Festival and Championship invites all enthusiasts to participate in workshops, events and tastings to discuss with barbecue professionals and improve their technique. The highlight is a gastronomic competition weekend that will take place on May 7 and 8, in which about thirty teams compete in 3 categories: beef, veggie and dessert. The winners will go to the grand final of the French Championship, which will be held in the South of France, in September.
