“The past two years, marked by the health crisis, have shown us that we need more democracy and a democracy at the service of the people and not at the service of political parties,” emphasizes this professor of economic management in secondary school and at the university. university.

Without having exercised an elective mandate and without a political party behind her candidacy, Miriam Djabali leaves with a lack of exposure to her opponents, but that doesn’t deter her.

“It’s a handicap, of course, but it’s also a strength because society feels an increasing distrust of the current political system,” emphasizes the Longjumeloise candidate, who finances her campaign with her own money.

I believe that hard work pays off, we have already worked well on our program, now we are going to campaign on the ground with the idea of ​​wearing something different, new ideas, defending and propagating the vote of the constituency voters. If we tell ourselves from the start that it is doomed to failure, we will not move forward.

Emmanuel Macron came out on top in the presidential election

In the first round of the presidential election, voters in the constituency placed Emmanuel Macron (31.1%) in the lead, well ahead of Jean-Luc Mélenchon (21.6%) and Marine Le Pen (19.3%).
